Iridology and Sclerology

Iridology

Iridology (Iris Diagnosis) enables diagnosing the origins of bodily weaknesses and disruptions via the iris of the eye. The term "iridology" stems from two Greek words – "Iris" and "Logia" – science. This method of diagnosis is based on an analytical art of science and philosophy, enabling us to identify the physical and mental status of the patient according to different signs on the iris.

The iris, which is the colored part of the eye, encompasses a vast number of thin nerve strings connected to the body's nerve center. Those nerve strings are the ends of the nervous system connected to the brain, which receive signals from different body parts, regarding events occurring in the body.

The scientific explanation of this diagnostic method is based on the fact that the sympathetic and cerebral-spinal nervous systems and their extensions create a direct connection between the different body parts and the iris. Any stimulation to one of the organs is channeled through the nerves to independent cerebral centers. As a reaction to the stimulation, these centers send a slight flow of blood to the stimulated area, and this reaction is then transferred via nerve stimuli to the relevant section of the iris.

The iris reveals to us a comprehensive map which includes all the body's parts and organs, with each one being represented in a strictly defined section of the iris. The map reflects all the body parts in their respective locations: the top part of the iris relates to the top organs, such as the head and brain, lower are the skull and its parts, the mid part is the mid organs such as the chest and midsection of the spinal cord, and the lower part of the iris represents the bottom organs – the pelvis with its internal parts and the legs.

A wide and versatile range of signs in the iris, their location, shape, color and depth, provide the information required for the diagnosis. Using these elements, we can penetrate the innermost soul and body of the patient, and thus define his or her characteristics, genetic tendencies and organic congenital and acquired problems, and evaluate the different healing processes. A correct reading of the signs on the map of the iris enables us to get a precise and reliable picture of the health situation of the body and organs, to predict illnesses and weaknesses, and to assign treatments for a healthy and normal lifestyle, in order to overcome these threats.

The story of how this method was discovered explains the connection between the physical situation and the iris. Between the years 1840-1850, Dr. Ignaz Von Peczely from Budapest, Hungary, made a sensational discovery about the eye's natural signs. When he was 10 years old, Von Peczely captured an owl whose wing was broken. The boy noticed a black dot rising in the owl's iris. During the bird's healing process, he observed that the black dot was covered by white lines and shading.
When Von Peczely grew up he became a physician, interning in surgery at the University hospital. He had the chance to observe the eyes of many patients before and after accidents and surgeries, and prepare sketches of their eyes. Many well known scientists dedicated their lives to studying iridology and contributed many discoveries to this science.

There are a number of iridology methods, but the most efficient one is the German method, as expressed in the Constitutions' Theory developed by Prof. Schmidt. This method enables us to obtain a maximum amount of information from the eye, in a minimal amount of time. Iridology is currently studied all around the world, and an increasing number of medical professionals acknowledge its importance. This method is being used as a supplementary tool for complementary diagnosis and for conventional medicine.

Iridology provides information which cannot be obtained through conventional lab tests and cannot be analyzed simply based on the patient's symptoms. The symptoms point to a problem, but they don't always reveal its source. Iridology effectively and quickly diagnoses the problem without surgery or other invasive methods.

The iris reflects not only characteristics and genetic tendencies, but also the patient's entire lifestyle. Therefore, the main focus of the treatment, both for healing and prevention purposes, is in adopting an improved lifestyle, including a suitable diet, tension and stress reduction, correct usage of medicinal herbs, and more.

Sclerology

Sclerology – diagnosis through the sclera is a form of science renewed over the past decade. Sclerology enables receiving exact information about the human body and its functions at the moment they occur, interpreting different signs appearing on the sclera of the eye.

The ability to diagnose through the sclera has been studied in ancient Chinese medicine, and there are antique charts pointing to different parts of the sclera. In this century, scientists have based their research on ancient knowledge, and developed a method enabling the exact evaluation of the current health status of the patient, using the different signs appearing in the sclera. Certain signs point to a problem in a specific organ, others point to general bodily functions.

The sclera – the white part of the eye, is a white choroidal tissue surrounding the iris and connected as a final station of the endocrinal, blood, nervous and lymphatic systems. Therefore, any change in the body is immediately displayed in the sclera, sometimes within 30 minutes or less. This process enables the acquisition of precise and current information of bodily processes.

The different lines of the sclera reflect the close relations of the patient with his or her surroundings. The lines reflect the patient's lifestyle in all its layers and aspects: the stress levels, the quality and quantity of food and fluids consumed, the quantity and types of medications and drugs consumed, and also, the connection and belief in a higher power, used as a "lifesaver" for self-healing. All of these factors have direct affects on the bodily systems related to the sclera, and through the lines of the sclera, they reflect the different influences and affects on the body.

The marks and signs in the sclera are exact and extremely powerful, as they allow us to know a lot about the patient's status and health.

When comparing the iridology (diagnosis via the iris) and the sclerology (diagnosis via the sclera) methods, the former allows us to observe the genetic tendencies, congenital weaknesses and processes acquired in different stages of life, in the past or potentially in the future, whereas the latter provides us with exact information about what is currently going on in the body, in real time. So despite the fact that each of these methods can exist in and of itself, combining them both maximizes our ability to diagnose and to provide the patient with preventative treatments and help bring about a speedy recovery.
